Ceramics Section

The Ceramic Section is home to two programs which, explore the creative exploration of ceramic fine art and foster the understanding of the scientific and technical training of ceramic technology. Through its programs in Fine Arts (Ceramics) and the Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Technology, the section offers a conducive environment for both artistic expression and materials innovation. Students of the BFA Ceramics program gain hands-on experience in clay modeling, glazing, and kiln operation, whilst students of the BSc Ceramic Technology program also develop a strong foundation in materials science, processing techniques, and industrial applications—preparing graduates for diverse careers in the arts, design, research, and manufacturing sectors.
