About Us

The Department of Industrial Art is one of the Four (4) Departments in the Faculty of Art (FoA) under the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE). 

The Department comprises the following sections, namely:

• Ceramics
• Fashion
• Integrated Rural Art and Industry
• Metal Product Design and 
• Textiles

The Department currently runs a number of undergraduates (UG) and postgraduates (PG) programmes in the Applied Art and Sciences in the sections.

All our undergraduates (UG) programmes are Four (4) years (with Three (3) months of Industrial placement.

Our academic staffs are well-connected and have established links with industry and other international organisations, both in Ghana and overseas. This brings richness to our teaching and degree programmes.

We also have some established collaborative links with other colleges in the University, and with other academic institutions around the world.
